Our level two safety boat handling course is an in-house certification suitable for anyone who has completed their level 1 safety boat handling course. This course will introduce advanced elements of boat handling such as engine management, J-turns, dynamic rescue and capsize recovery of an inflatable boat. Throughout the course, you will be given the opportunity to manage the boat and perform the rescue techniques.
About this course:
- This is a 1-day course (9am – 4pm)
- This course will be held at Dickson Dragon, Port Dickson
- This course is limited to 8 participants per session
- The minimum age required for participation is 16 years old.
Syllabus or module:
- Engine management
- J-Turns
- Dynamic turns
- Close quarters manoeuvring
- Shallow water operations
- Rescue of unconscious victim
- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on an inflatable boat
- Throw ropes and other life saving equipment
Course fees:
· RM300 per person
· Includes: all boating equipment (12 ft inflatable boat, OBM engine, personal flotation device, 1 lunch), course materials, instructors, E-certificate
· Participants are required to provide proof of payment to secure and guarantee their spot on the course.

Participants are required to bring the following:
- Wet clothes (we recommend dry fit clothes, long sleeves and pants that will protect yourself from the weather)

- Waterproof phone pouch (optional)

- Personal first aid kit / Medication
- Water bottle
- Notebook & pen
- Additional clothes for change
- Personal toiletries
- Sunscreen or sun cream
